Vintage Feel Shirt and Pointy Heels

Before it got super cold and rainy here in LA, we had pretty nice weather for a bit. It was Winter but it was warm enough to just walk out in a t-shirt with a light jacket on top. I guess that's the perks of living in LA - warm enough weather even though it's Winter.
I had just picked up the shirt from Zara literally the day before this shoot, and I happened to pick up those shoes about a week before I got the shirt. It just made so much sense in my head to pair these up together, that I had to just go for it. And of course, I gotta get photos taken for my blog as well.
Shirt - Zara (www.zara.com)
Jacket - BCBG (www.bcbg.com)
Pants - Zara (www.zara.com)
Shoes - Steve Madden (www.stevemadden.com)
I'm sure you can tell, but these shoes are half a size bigger than my normal shoe size. People say don't ever go for shoes that are not exactly your size, and I have to say... that is quite true. However, I have wide feet and so this somehow worked out for me. One thing for sure is because there isn't any platform in the front, I couldn't walk around in it for too long without feeling pain in my toes.
I believe myself to be not too shabby at walking in heels but this was actually kind of painful.
I picked them up for about $23 at Ross (What a steal, these are Steve Madden shoes!) and I just couldn't pass on it because it was not only very pleasing to the eyes, but it was just such a great deal.
Because it was a little loose, I went and got myself a jelly patch to put on the heel of the shoes not only to fill the little gap but also to give my heels a relief when breaking into the shoes.
Major shoutout to Jessica Jeon for taking these gorgeous photos for me!
I know I'm not as active on the blog as I am on my Instagram (@graceyourself__), but bear with me. I have some nice posts coming soon so stay tuned!

I hope you guys are having a great Chinese/Lunar New Year. (:
