Beautiful Day

The highlight of my Fourth of July weekend was my visit to the Huntington Library/Garden in Pasadena, California. Hanna's friend Donna was visiting from the East Coast and Chelsea, Rachelle and I went on this trip with them to enjoy nature.

This place was absolutely beautiful.
It was so hot when we were walking around though, so we got tired pretty quickly. I also got too lazy to continue photographing the scenery because it was so hot...but I would like to visit this place again some time during the Fall/Winter time so that I can enjoy without sweating so much. If you're a nature lover, I do highly recommend taking a visit to this place.

The above bush was named "Cinderella." There was a kpop song from a long time ago called "Cinderella" with a specific motion that I semi-followed. I don't think you'd get it unless you know the song...hehe.

This is Chelsea Pae, and she always helps me out with taking photos for my blog. Always thankful for this friend along with a few others for being so amazing and patient! Thank you once again for the beautiful photos you've produced during this trip.

Before heading to the Huntington Library, we made a stop at Dog Haus in Pasadena to fill our empty tummies. I'm not much of a hot dog lover so I just ordered a burger and it was actually delicious! Above is a screenshot of Rachelle's instagram post. Her instagram has pretty much become a foodstagram and some of her photos are actually amazing. Some of them also have been featured in different pages and accounts like DineLA and buzzfeed(I think it was buzzfeed...).

We stopped by Old Town Pasadena after Huntington Library and took Donna to Intelligentsia. We also went to eat poke across the street at the Poke Salad Bar (below the hotdog photo) which was delicious. It was my first time trying it and it was so good that I ate my plate clean. We went to the Griffith Observatory afterwards in the hopes of watching the sun set. However, there happened to be concerts going on at the Greek Theater at Griffith Park and that made us miss the setting time. We still went to watch the pretty view of Los Angeles (photo below) and then headed back to Koreatown to grab some dessert from Okrumong.

It was a tiring but a memorable day for us.
I hope you guys had a great Fourth of July weekend as well. (:
